CEO & Co-Founder
Troy brings over 30 years of public safety experience and a variety of academic knowledge, training and a specialized skillset to ACG. Troy’s training and experience derives from public safety, law enforcement, private security along with Church Safety & Security positions. Troy’s experience consists of working in the areas of counter terrorism, tactical response, aviation security, emergency preparation, surveillance detection, developing and implementing training programs and conducting threat/risk assessments.
Troy’s career started in the Fire Service then migrated into law enforcement. After 9/11, Troy transitioned from local law enforcement to the Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS) where he helped pioneer the FAMS Surveillance Detection and Reporting system. Troy also conducted domestic and international missions along with instructing at the FAMS Training Academy.
In 2006, Troy took a position as a special agent within U.S. Homeland Security that combats criminal organizations illegally exploiting America’s travel, trade, and financial systems. Troy has conducted multiple diverse investigations and held collateral duties such as Team Leader for the Special Response Team, Senior Firearms Instructor and Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
Troy currently serves as Safety & Security Director for a refreshing covenant, upbeat, bible-based church in Western Wisconsin.
Troy holds degrees in Criminal Justice and Fire Protection, Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and attended the University of Wisconsin Stout Graduate School while pursuing his master’s degree in Training and Organizational Development.

As our Founder and President, Dave brings over 30 years of experience that has prepared and led him to manage our daily operations with integrity and professionalism. Dave works directly with our clients and team of consultants to ensure that we consistently provide professional service and meet everyone’s expectations.
Dave brings a full range of operational policing and security experience from military, local, state, federal, foreign and private sector operations. Dave is a military veteran, retired law enforcement officer and former private sector security director. Dave has served in the field and in leadership roles where he managed large multi-disciplinary teams with responsibilities for enforcing criminal law, managing security operations, securing facilities and directing peacekeeping operations.
Dave’s professional experience includes:
• Serving the United States Air Force, City of Great Falls Police Department, The United Nations international peacekeeping mission in Kosovo, Montana Gambling Investigation Bureau, U.S. Federal Air Marshal Service and as a Director of Security Operations for a private sector client.
• Conducting and supervising criminal and civil investigations, making arrests, presenting evidence, testifying in proceedings, operating on tactical teams, conducting risk assessments, training officers, investigating regulatory compliance, leading patrol operations and managing aviation security operations.
Dave and his wife Kari live in western WI, where they are active with their church and volunteer within their community. They enjoy outdoor activities, spending time at the gym and focusing on great nutrition to maximize their health.
